Go Ahead Eagles tribute in Deventer has started

In Deventer, the celebration of football club Go Ahead Eagles has begun. The club won the KNVB Cup on Monday after penalties at the expense of AZ.
The selection takes a ride along the IJssel in an open bus. The bus departed from an event site on Roland Holstlaan and continues to the Havenkwartier.
Thousands of people are standing along the route cheering on the players, can be seen on the regional channel RTV Oost. The municipality expects that 20,000 people will come to watch.
During the ceremony it may rain. The municipality calls on people to wear ponchos and leave umbrellas at home, so that everyone can see the bus clearly.
