You Can Get the AirPods 4 for $99 This Week
If Jeff Bezos’s Prime Day passed you by last week, 1) Do you live under a rock? and 2) I wish I were you. That said, you missed a lot of solid Apple markdowns while you were out touching grass. But Amazon did manage to leave one notable deal on the table: AirPods 4 are still only $99.

Two models are available—with and without active noise cancellation—but the latter has the under-$100 price tag. For what it’s worth, Commerce Editor Luke Guillory tested the AirPods 4 with noise cancellation, and he says, “I often use them with noise canceling off, and I can always hear my music.”
Guillory also calls his AirPods 4 “just techy enough.” What he means: The features that really matter are foolproof, and it’s what makes them his all-time favorite earbuds. They connect easily to his iPhone, the fit works for him even at the gym, and they can be controlled with basic taps to the stem (answering calls, pausing songs, etc). As for the sound, Guillory says it’s “substantial and nuanced, much more so than with other similarly priced earbuds.”
Fair warning: Because this is the same sale we saw during Prime Day, there’s no telling when Amazon will remember to restore them to their original price. After all, AirPods 3 are already off sale. Do with that intel what you will.
