The Wine Route in Gualeguaychú: visits to wineries, tastings and even options to sleep with a view of the vineyards

Gualeguaychú , in the province of Entre Ríos , is much more than hot springs, a river, and Carnival . This land, which in the 19th century was a pioneer of Argentine winemaking , is once again establishing itself on the wine tourism scene and is once again committed to wine production as both an engine for tourism and local development.
It's important to remember that for much of the 20th century, a national ban (Law 12,137 of 1930) forced the closure of hundreds of wineries, limiting winemaking to the Cuyo region. It wasn't until 1993 , with the repeal of that law, that a slow recovery process began, driven primarily by families and small producers.
From the Undersecretariat of Tourism, the destination formally organized the Wine Route , a circuit that brings together six wineries and vineyards in the department of Gualeguaychú.
These places open their doors throughout the year to offer visits, tours and tastings , seeking to restore the coast to its place on the map of Argentine wine.
