Fire at La Bombonera: the reason for the fire in one of the popular stands of Boca's stadium

The celebrations were in full swing on Sunday afternoon at Boca 's stadium. The Xeneize defeated River in the Superclásico and qualified for the Copa Libertadores. However, on Monday, with the Bombonera quieter after a memorable afternoon, the club from La Ribera experienced a tremendous scare when one of the stands caught fire.
What happened? During the tremendous welcome from Boca Juniors fans, thousands of pieces of paper were thrown into the stands. Once the crowd had dispersed, the Boca Juniors staff hadn't had time to clean the stands, and what remained on the steps caught fire . The incident occurred in the south end of the stadium. It all happened in the middle tier, behind the goal where Merentiel scored Boca's second goal against River Plate.
