Fernando Alonso's take on the F1 film: "It's not a documentary, there were a couple of things that would never have happened."

Fernando Alonso , two-time Formula 1 world champion and legend of Spanish sport, has given his opinion on the film starring Javier Bardem, "F1: The Movie," which premiered in Spain on June 27. The Asturian driver said it's "very good" for his sport and perfectly captures the day-to-day life and routine of drivers in the paddock at the Grand Circus.
"It's a very good thing for our sport. It was a very good film, and it actually represents quite well what we have within the paddock, the teams, the drivers... everything," said Fernando Alonso himself after enjoying the film created by Joseph Kosinski, which stars Brad Pitt.
In turn, the Aston Martin driver, despite being full of praise for the film, added that, "obviously," it has certain scenes and elements that represent "Hollywood": " Obviously, these types of films have elements of Hollywood. It's a film, not a documentary. There were a couple of things that, in real life, wouldn't happen... but I would say that most of them did, it was very original and very representative."
Finally, the two-time Formula 1 world champion acknowledged that it was "great fun" to see some of his teammates in action and their brief participation in the film: " It was fun to see some of my colleagues, the drivers, myself... even though I only appear for about two seconds in the film."
