YouTube reported down: this is what happened

The DownDetector platform recorded a large number of user reports about the downtime of YouTube , Google's video platform.
According to reports cited by El Universal , 51% of users have reported problems with the app, 30% with video streaming, and 18% with the website.
As of Wednesday afternoon, DownDetector had received 6,337 reports of issues with the platform.
At this time, Google's video platform has not released any details about this outage. At the moment, everything seems to indicate that the outage occurred in different countries.
Some users are also told that they do not have internet access when they access YouTube , however, you should not worry since it is all part of the problems that the platform is experiencing.

Reports of YouTube's downtime began at 5:04 p.m. And 49 minutes after the first reports, DownDetector had 14,829. However, by 7 p.m., some were reporting that the site was returning to normal.
Here are some user reactions (and memes) to the YouTube crash.
Yep, YouTube is down, it's not your internet. If you see something about an update and then an ID error, it's a platform error, not yours. Don't worry. pic.twitter.com/D82Nnh1U4r
