Cuatroochenta invoices 23% more and earns 1.1 million

The technology company is projected to earn $27.6 million in 2024 thanks to acquisitions and the growth of its cybersecurity business.

The Castellón-based company Cuatroochenta, specializing in technology services for businesses, closed the last fiscal year with a turnover of €27.6 million, up 23%. This growth is attributed to inorganic growth and a strong rebound in cybersecurity activity.

According to figures presented to BME Growth, Cuatroochenta posted a net profit of €1.1 million in 2024, compared to €172,800 the previous year.

The company explains that last year it reaped the benefits of the active inorganic growth achieved in previous years. In fiscal years 2024 and 2023, it did not make any acquisitions. However, from 2019 to 2021, it pursued an active inorganic growth strategy, with four major company transactions in Spain and Latin America.

Cuatroochenta notes that "the acquired companies recorded an aggregate sales volume of €12.50 million in the year of their acquisition. Following their integration into Cuatroochenta, in 2024, sales recorded by the acquired companies will have amounted to €24.36 million."

It also points out that, within the increase in sales volume, the companies acquired and integrated into Sofistic 's cybersecurity business unit are particularly noteworthy, having recorded a sales increase of €10.55 million since their acquisition. This business unit grew by 38% last year, the company explains.

More investments

"We are in an unbeatable position to undertake new acquisitions. We have already demonstrated our ability to acquire companies and scale them from a much smaller size than today. Now, the company generates cash with which to invest and is ready to accelerate its growth ," highlighted Alfredo R. Cebrián, CEO and co-founder of Cuatroochenta. Cebrián gave as an example of this M&A strategy that "in 2019 it opted to fully enter the cybersecurity sector and in 2024 it represented 42% of the total volume of its business, at a time when the market is growing and everything indicates that investment in cybersecurity and defense will take off in Europe."

"We still have the potential to multiply our size and capitalization several times over. We will be a leading player in the development of businesses based on technology, cybersecurity, and applied knowledge; we are convinced that we have the necessary resources to achieve this," stated the company's CEO.
