The request for authorization to lobby for the SIDE was signed by a leader close to Trump.

The State Intelligence Secretariat (SIDE) hired a lobbying agency in the United States to help the government secure meetings with officials from Donald Trump's administration. However, in addition to this consultant, another woman close to the White House chief , who presents herself as a Trump fundraiser and has been subpoenaed by Congress for her alleged involvement in organizing the march that ended with the assault on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, has personally registered to closely monitor these efforts, according to Clarín.

The consulting firm hired by SIDE is called Tactic Coc LLC, based in Miami, and its owner is Leonardo Scatturice, an Argentine resident of that city. As required by U.S. lobbying law, Tactic had to register with the official Department of Justice, and it is listed in the administration's Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) records.

But in addition to Tactic's request to lobby for the Argentine government, Caroline Morgan Wren made another presentation on her own behalf , although also under the Tactic umbrella.

Wren is a member of Tactic Global , which bills itself as an agency “connecting international markets to U.S. politics,” and which also includes Scatturice , but she is also known in Washington for raising money for Trump.

In fact, she is the founder and president of a consulting firm in the US capital called Bluebonnet Fundraising LLC , which bills itself as “a full-service event planning and fundraising company.”

There she describes herself as an “avid supporter of President Donald J. Trump,” serving as National Advisor to the Trump Victory Finance Committee and National Finance Consultant for Trump Victory, the joint fundraising committee for President Trump and the Republican National Committee.

The woman, a frequent commentator on far-right activist Steve Bannon's show, is also a personal friend of Matt Schlapp, the director of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) , and his wife, Mercedes, an organization that has close contact with Milei.

Wren was photographed with President Trump at a gala at the Kennedy Center a few days ago and is a visitor to the Mar-a-Lago summer residence , according to her social media accounts.

Wren found herself in the middle of a heated controversy when a Republican operative told ProPublica that she had helped fund (apparently with $3 million) the January 6, 2021, marches , where thousands of Trump supporters gathered in Washington and some of them ended up violently storming the Capitol as the certification of Joe Biden's victory was being voted on.

Wren was forced to testify in December 2021 before a special congressional committee investigating that dark episode in American history.

According to the subpoena letter, signed by committee chairman Bennie Thompson, “The investigation has revealed credible evidence of your involvement in events within the scope of the Select Committee’s investigation. According to documents provided to the Select Committee, press reports, and statements from Women for America First (“WFAF”), you helped organize the rally held on the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., on January 6, 2021, in support of then-President Trump and his claims of election fraud.”

She denied having financed a violent march . "I don't recall soliciting funds at that time," she testified before Congress, saying she also fundraised for the Republican National Committee. "I was not involved," she said.

Wren knows the halls of the Washington offices well and will likely have a more direct role than the Miami-based office members.
