Javier Milei called Victoria Villarruel a "brute traitor" and insulted opponents: "We're going to crush them at the polls."

Elevated by the warm applause of the Cordoba audience at "La Derecha Fest," the festival promoted by the "most anti-leftist in the world," Javier Milei shouted down his 2023 running mate, Vice President Victoria Villarruel , as a "brute traitor." He called his opponents, especially Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillof, "parasites," and clamored for a flood of votes in the October general elections.
Twenty minutes after 9 p.m., the President closed the political rally with libertarian leaders, which met for the first time in the city of Córdoba. From the stage, fueled by applause, Milei reiterated that he leads the "best government in Argentine history" and announced that the veto of the law increasing pensions and disability benefits will be announced in the coming days .
One of the most tense—and repeated—moments was when he mistreated his vice president . Milei claimed that Victoria Villarruel harassed him with the number representing the pension increase voted by the opposition in the Senate, ran the figure, and called her a "brute traitor."
"The first law of politics is to ignore the first law of economics... and the populists know this, right? Didn't they vote for a $17 billion spending bill weeks ago? And the traitorous brute said she was going to finance it with $30 million... I suggest that before you play tricks, you learn to add two and two," Milei maintained. Emboldened, the audience chanted: "Son of a bitch, son of a bitch."
Milei read much of her speech on stage and raised her head to praise or harshly criticize her enemies. Her sister, Karina Milei , secretary general of the Presidency, received the President's approval, who asked for applause for "The Boss" for his achievements .

At that point, he referred to the October general elections. "The battle for votes is a long march. Imagine that today we only have 15% of the Deputies and 10% of the Senators. But it's still a march that only goes in one direction because the country the state party led us to was disastrous. It's already a lost cause for them to run in the elections. People don't want to even see them in figurines, which is why many will be surprised by the October results ," Milei predicted.
She also emphasized, as a message of hope, that she expects a "purple crash." She singled out Daniel Parisini, known on social media as "El Gordo Dan ," one of those hit hard by the closing of the Buenos Aires lists, who refers to advisor Santiago Caputo. "That colossus that scares them from streaming , El Gordo Dan," Milei emphasized before the 2,500-seat hall, which had a large standing audience.
The President also renewed his praise for the Minister of Economy, Luis "Toto" Caputo, and the Minister of Deregulation, Federico Sturzenegger, whom he praised for their more than "8,000 structural reforms."

Among other criticisms of the opposition, he defined Kirchnerism as " the most indebted movement in Argentine history ." "We are at war, we are going to crush you at the polls," he exclaimed. But he focused his criticism on the president of the Peronist Senate bloc.
"I haven't forgotten that there was a fucking asshole who said that during a pandemic, there are no rights, and how disgusting it is that someone would go and hug that filthy walrus . If it's not clear, I'm talking about José Mayans , who is a senator under Gildo Insfrán," Milei shouted. As with Villarruel, the audience again insulted him in unison.
The President spoke to a packed auditorium at the Quórum Hotel, on the outskirts of Córdoba. The event, which was sold out according to organizers , began just after 6:00 PM.
Some of the speakers spoke in front of a large audience. Agustín Laje , just before Milei, spoke about envy in philosophy, in a long exposition in which he criticized all the people he criticized the Socialist deputy Esteban Paulón for belonging to the LGBTQ+ community and being left-wing. He called it "sensitive."

Javier Negre , owner of La Derecha Diario and organizer of the event , also received presidential praise. He and other speakers attacked journalists . While they did so, a wide range of anti-press merchandise was being sold outside , right in front of the hall where right-wing ideas held their self-celebration , the third edition of "La Derecha Fest."
