Miss Dominican Republic presents candidates

Miss Dominican Republic presented the candidates for the 69th edition of the pageant, to be held in August, with the presence of Victoria Kjær Theilvig, current Miss Universe.
The event took place at the Hyatt Centric Santo Domingo, where Magali Febles, the event's national director and franchise owner, gave the keynote address.
Febles was forceful and clear in her words. "Some of the girls are going to start training this weekend. Don't start making comparisons; give them space so they don't frustrate me. Let me work with them."
She also expressed pride in the work she does for the Dominican Republic. She added that although we haven't won a crown, "we're among the 10 countries with the most qualifications, out of 130 participants."
"No one wants to wear a crown more than I do," Febles said.
