Good news from TelevisaUnivision

Two events have stood out in recent days, once again consolidating Televisa-Univision's position as the absolute leader in the creation and distribution of Spanish-language content worldwide.

The first is the exclusive agreement for the broadcast of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series race between NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing LLC) and the television network.

Under this new agreement, TelevisaUnivision will be the only free-to-air (FTA) channel in Mexico to exclusively broadcast the highly anticipated 2025 NASCAR Cup Series race in Mexico City, scheduled for Sunday, June 15 at 3 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. local time. The race will be broadcast live on TelevisaUnivision's Channel 5, with commentary entirely in Spanish.

The second was the 2025 Upfront presentation in the heart of Manhattan, where Donna Speciale, President of U.S. Advertising Sales and Marketing, declared, “TelevisaUnivision is the most powerful and enduring force in Hispanic media: the only fully integrated ecosystem that unites premium Spanish-language content, audience insights, and multiplatform reach, all under one roof.” She continued, “In an industry where companies seek to be everything to everyone, we are singularly focused on being everything to one: the Hispanic community, a relationship we have built and cultivated for 70 years. And in a world where consumer attention is more fragmented than ever, our authenticity and heritage are not just advantages, but the cornerstone of our relevance.”

Subsequently, Ignacio Meyer, President of Univision Networks Group, and Rafael Urbina, President of Streaming and Digital, presented the innovative content-centric strategy that drives TelevisaUnivision's broader ecosystem, from market-leading networks that continue to outperform the competition among U.S. Hispanics, to ViX, the company's global streaming platform.

To start, intergenerational content designed to impact realities with new 24/7 formats: A selection of always-on reality formats designed to deliver a constant stream of fresh, unscripted content across all genres, from lifestyle and competition to music, all optimized for streaming on ViX. Also, a short-form content offering with the launch of microdramas: dynamic scripted series featuring one-minute episodes designed for today's mobile viewer.

A historic new agreement with CONCACAF was also announced, adding the full schedule of the Confederation's women's soccer competitions to the company's industry-leading portfolio (World Championship, World Gold Cup, World Nations League, and World Champions Cup), cementing its position as the birthplace of women's soccer in the United States.

Other new projects unveiled include Streaming Ad Innovation for ViX, developed in collaboration with TripleLift, YA Fest, a new music festival set to stream live from three major cities in September 2026, a partnership with iHeartMedia to livestream iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina exclusively on ViX this October, the unveiling of Con Esa Misma Mirada – Seasons 1 & 2 (Univision), CDI: Código de Investigación Hosted by the charismatic Borja Voces, CDI (Código de Investigación) is a groundbreaking true crime entertainment program that delves into the most captivating and shocking crime stories, El Conquistador is the world’s most extreme survival adventure reality show set in the rugged Los Haitises National Park in the Dominican Republic, La Mansión 24/7 From the creators of Nuestra Belleza Latina, La Mansión is a new reality show that will allow audiences 24/7 access to the contestants going about their daily lives.
