Mr. Darcy from Guadalajara goes viral after the re-release of 'Pride and Prejudice' (VIDEO)

In this sense, a video has recently gone viral where a Guadalajara native attends the re-release of "Pride and Prejudice" dressed as Fitzwilliam Darcy, recreating the emblematic scene when this character walks towards Elizabeth. Bennet in a long coat, in a meadow, to confess his love.

It was TikTok user lysandromimarido who shared the video, which already has almost 37,000 likes, with the caption , "We at the movies, thinking we wouldn't have a Mr. Darcy," when the young man appears imitating the character outside the Cinemex on Paseo Alcalde.

However, social media users claimed that the Guadalajara native doesn't really resemble Darcy, but rather another character: Gilbert Blythe from the Netflix series "Anne with an E," in which he is also very beloved by fans due to his romantic relationship with the protagonist.

On the other hand, others commented that the real highlight of the viral video was the sunset in the background when the young man was walking towards the girls, which gave it a more cinematic atmosphere.
