Canal Sur reaches extraordinary figures with the Morante anthology bullfight: more than one million viewers and absolute leader in its time slot

Bullfighting in open broadcasts once again demonstrated their power in today's society with the bullfight held this past Thursday, May 1, at the Real Maestranza de Caballería in Seville, which was broadcast openly by the regional channel Canal Sur.

Morante, who had an anthological afternoon , Juan Ortega and Pablo Aguado made up the line-up facing the bulls of Domingo Hernández.

The Andalusian television network recorded extraordinary figures for its broadcast of the Preferia festival, positioning itself as the absolute leader in its time slot with a 19.1 percentage point share and over 725,000 viewers during the broadcast. These figures were added to the 200,000 viewers on the digital platform Canal Sur Más and the 127,000 viewers on the YouTube channel, surpassing the million viewer mark.

Canal Sur's cameras will return to the Maestranza bullring this Saturday to broadcast the Victorino Martín bullfight with El Cid, Manuel Escribano, and Daniel Luque.
