Rainy Streets.- Didi and Uber Eats delivery drivers have flocked to buy Hideo Kojima's new Death Stranding 2 , turning it into an unexpected sales phenomenon.

The saga starring Norman Reedus as a post-apocalyptic delivery man who delivers packages in a destroyed world surrounded by constant rain has caused these brave workers to feel connected to the story.

Kojima's new game is a tribute to food delivery drivers

“Everything is exactly the same: the hostile terrain, the obstacles, the pressure from customers who want their burger in 15 minutes even if they live on the outskirts of the city, the lack of tips… everything!” said Diego, a diamond-level delivery driver at Uber Eats.

The sequel to Kojima's game has inspired forums where delivery drivers share tips for tackling everyday challenges, such as running red lights, dealing with customers who say "I'm on my way," or avoiding dogs lurking in garages.

“This game made me cry… and not because of the story, but because of how real it feels to deliver in the rain with 5 stars at stake,” one delivery driver wrote on the forum while waiting for the door to open for payment.

It's not ruled out that a DLC for the game set in the streets of Naucalpan could be released soon. It will include special missions inspired by the real-life atmosphere of the place, which would be even more terrifying than a dystopian world with acid rain.

And to stay up to date: The Bank of Mexico reveals that Mexicans have saved 12 million in axolotl bills.
