AirCar 2 Coming in 2026: The Flying Car Ready to Revolutionize Mobility

The mobility of the future is upon us with the AirCar 2, the flying car from Klein Vision, a Slovakian startup led by Stefan Klein. Presented at the Living Legends of Aviation Gala 2025 in Beverly Hills , in front of personalities such as John Travolta, Morgan Freeman and Prince Harry, the AirCar 2 received the prestigious Special Recognition Award for Engineering Excellence , celebrating the innovation of a vehicle that unites the road and the sky. This production prototype, the evolution of five generations of models developed in 35 years , is ready to debut on the market in 2026 , promising to revolutionize personal transportation, at least according to Klein Vision.
The AirCar 2 transforms from a car to a plane in just 80 seconds thanks to an automated system of retractable wings and extendable tail. Equipped with a 280 horsepower engine, it reaches a cruising speed of 250 km/h in flight and offers a range of 1000 km in the air and 800 km on the road , with gasoline power. The composite chassis reduces weight by 200 kg compared to its predecessor, improving performance and safety. At 5.8 meters long , the AirCar can be parked in standard spaces and requires only 300 meters to take off from an airport. Once landed, it drives to its destination.
Certified for airworthiness in Slovakia , the AirCar is aiming for EASA CS-32 certification for large-scale production in Europe . The price tag , between $800,000 and $1 million , reflects the advanced technology, with deliveries scheduled for 2026. Klein Vision has already received pre-orders and is seeking investors to expand production.
