Purchases on Lottomatica, not affected by the placement of more than 10% of the capital

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Lottomatica Group rises despite the placement of over 10% of its capital .

Earlier today, Gamma Intermediate completed the placement of 26 million Lottomatica shares representing approximately 10.3% of the share capital, through an accelerated bookbuilding. The sale price of the placement has been set at 19.10 euros per share . Settlement is expected to occur on or about May 13, the note continues. Gamma Intermediate will retain a stake of approximately 21.3% of the share capital of Lottomatica following the completion of the placement and has committed to maintain a 60-day lock-up for its remaining Lottomatica shares.

According to operators, Lottomatica shares are not affected by the placement since the placement occurred at a very low discount and was ultimately quite expected. It should be noted that this is the sixth placement by Gamma Intermediate since the beginning of 2024.
