Consob gives green light to Nuo's takeover bid prospectus for Bialetti

Consob gives the green light to publication of the information prospectus of the mandatory takeover bid Nuo on the 21.32% not yet owned by Bialetti. This can be read in a note indicating that the memberships will be collected from 7th to 25th July. The aim of the offer is to collect the entire capital of Bialetti and then proceed to withdraw from Piazza Affari price list. On April 16, Luxembourg-based Nuo Capital, which is boss to Chinese tycoon Stephen Cheng, had perfected the signing a sales contract for the purchase of 78.567% of Bialetti shares. The sellers are Sculptor Holdings with 19.56% of the capital, Francesco Ranzoni (50%) and Diego Della Valle (6.94%). Consob had frozen the investigation on the information prospectus last June 19th for acquire "certain additional information". The file on the offer had been reopened by Consob yesterday.
