Cinisello Balsamo, Open Villas are back: guided tours in costume to discover the beauties

Cinisello Balsamo (Milan), 30 April 2025 – The Silva counts will return to inhabit their historic residence, to tell beauties, anecdotes and accompany the public through the frescoed rooms and the first example in Italy of an English garden . Ville Aperte in Brianza 2025 returns to Cinisello Balsamo , with the spring edition , from Saturday to Sunday 11 May .
Villa Ghirlanda Silva and Villa Casati Stampa will offer various activities for all tastes. For the city center complex, there will be guided historical-artistic visits of the most significant internal rooms and of the park that winds through the rich arboreal heritage and monuments, to observe and comment on the buildings and historical furnishings and the various finds present among the vegetation. All in collaboration with the Historical Documentation Center.
There will also be guided masked theatrical tours, where during the tour you can watch performances in period costumes by volunteer actors "Friends of Pertini and Villa Ghirlanda". The Museum of Contemporary Photography will offer tours of the exhibition "Veggenti. Nuove ricerche visive sul paesaggio italiano", curated by Matteo Balduzzi , with the works of ten Italian artists under 40 recently acquired by Mufoco. A precious opportunity to discover the images that entered the museum's heritage following the call for proposals launched during another important exhibition organized at the Scuderie del Quirinale entitled "L'Italia è un desiderio", promoted by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture together with the Alinari Foundation in Rome in June 2023. Finally, Villa Casati Stampa will return to the forefront with the fifth edition of "Primavera in villa", the event that aims to relaunch the message of "Giving hope to the future". The program of proposed activities will run from Saturday to May 16 and consists of guided tours to discover the villa, also involving people with disabilities from Anffas NordMilano, and then cultural meetings, as opportunities for reflection and discussion on current issues, in collaboration with local associations.
