Foggia, 2024 budget: the Chamber of Commerce closes with a surplus of over 1.2 million and allocates new funds for businesses

The Chamber Council of Foggia has unanimously approved the 2024 financial statement of the Chamber of Commerce , certifying an economic surplus of 1,204,000 euros . A growing figure compared to the past, which will allow the institution to allocate an additional 500 thousand euros to local businesses.
Declining costs, virtuous managementThe accounting document shows efficient management. Current revenues amount to 10,560,000 euros , with over 71% deriving from the annual fee paid by companies. Current expenses stand at 9,601,000 euros , with a decrease of 926 thousand euros compared to 2023. The result of current management records a surplus of 959 thousand euros , compared to 256 thousand in the previous year, marking a clear and constant improvement in the financial stability of the institution.
Di Carlo: “Resources to transform numbers into opportunities”The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Giuseppe Di Carlo , was satisfied and underlined the political and operational value of a unanimous approval: “It is a strong and positive signal that testifies to the solidity and effectiveness of our management . Thanks to the increased financial availability, the Chamber of Commerce will be able to allocate 500,000 euros to targeted interventions , with the aim of stimulating innovation , supporting digitalisation , promoting internationalisation and addressing the most urgent needs of the Foggia production sector .
