Calle Mambo, Les Touffes Krétiennes, Zoufris Maracas... Abracada'Sons is dynamiting Lot-et-Garonne

For the 25th consecutive year, the Staccato association is launching its traveling and open-minded festival. Kicking off on Friday, September 12 in Tonneins with Zoufris Maracas
Let's rejoice: it's back to school time. And with it, the Abracada'Sons festival. Concocted by the highly motivated team of the Staccato association, it's a series of concerts, each offered in a different town in Lot-et-Garonne, until October 18.
For over ten years, Zoufris Maracas has been rocking stages (both the Olympia in Paris and the Rocher de Palmer in Girondin were sold out this spring). French song and world music serve a civic and apolitical discourse. Excerpts from their 4th album ("La Course folle", in 2024), "Si c'était pire", "Liberta" and "Tout blanc ou tout noir" are joyful and unifying anthems, an antidote to the darkness of the world. Even more recent, the single "Pâle Estime" kicks the ass of all the warmongers and other cynics.
Don Pablito and the Bordeaux alternative brass band Les Touffes Krétiennes will kick off the party. The festival will continue until October 17 and will feature performances by Deportivo, Astaffort Mods, Chile's Calle Mambo, and Moscow Death Brigade.
Tonneins (47). Friday, September 12 in La Manoque. €22. www.staccato.org
