La Liga wants to play a Barça match in Miami

Lamine Yamal's (center) Barça is likely to perform in the United States.
Just before Christmas, on the weekend of December 21, don't make the trip to Villarreal to watch FC Barcelona play. Indeed, it is now highly unlikely that this match of the 17th day of La Liga will be held at the famous Estadio de la Ceramica.
So, La Liga is seriously considering relocating this match. Where? To Miami!
This would be the first time a European top-flight league match has been played in the United States. The move comes primarily from Javier Tebas, the president of the Spanish league.
According to information released by the Catalan daily Sport, as well as by The Athletic, the organization of this match at the Hard Rock Stadium is on track.
All of this still needs to be validated by the RFEF, the Spanish federation. Then, in a second step, UEFA will have to initiate the procedure with FIFA to obtain its approval for the relocation of the match. CONCACAF (the North American confederation) and the American federation must also validate this request.
La Liga had already attempted this in 2018, for a Girona-Barça match, but both the RFEF and FIFA opposed it. This was also the case a year later for a match between Atletico Madrid and Villarreal. Last year, discussions also surrounded the match between Atletico and Barça.
This time, La Liga could well achieve its goals. And usher in a new era?
