Antoine Dupont has embarked on a new project, far removed from rugby.

Antoine Dupont is in the recovery phase, but not yet on the pitch. Seriously injured during the match against Ireland in the Six Nations Tournament last March, the French XV captain is now focusing on his rehabilitation after his cruciate ligament surgery.
While he will still be heavily involved in his club Stade Toulousain, the Frenchman will also be doing something else for several months, focusing on new projects he has just launched. Since April, along with four partners, including his brother Clément, a farmer and breeder of black pigs from Bigorre, and his teammate at Stade Toulousain, prop Cyril Baille, he officially opened the doors of his new establishment, "Chez Jean, la métairie Dupont."
This restaurant is located in Castelnau-Magnoac, his hometown, not far from Toulouse. A "country bistro" that offers service "from Wednesday to Sunday," as can be read on social media. While the challenge is daunting, Antoine Dupont has the soul of a self-employed entrepreneur and isn't diving headfirst into this field, which he already knows.
A year ago, the Frenchman launched a restaurant called "Gaïa," which quickly became a must-see and trendy spot in Toulouse. "We're super happy. For the moment, the people of Toulouse are responding," Thomas Affre, a restaurateur associated with the project, told La Dépêche. International footballer Pierre-Louis Barassi and Julien Mas are also involved in the project.
"Even after four months, we're trying to get customers to come back and we're focusing a lot on good food and a friendly atmosphere. We assume that's what our customers are looking for. We get a lot of bookings for birthdays, especially on weekends. It brings something different and a very festive feel. That's also what we're looking for," explains the restaurateur.L'Internaute
