Basque pelota: Dordogne welcomes the regional semi-finals this Sunday

There will be a crowd on Rue des Izards this Sunday, May 18. There will be no rugby match at Dantou, but in addition to the CAP tennis team returning to its courts, the Périgueux Basque pelota club, before the finals in 2026, will host the semifinals of the regional paleta gum full championship on the municipal fronton. Six high-level matches will be organized, including a Périgord pair that qualified last weekend for the 2nd Series. The 1st Series teams have the opportunity to win their ticket to the French championship.

The competition begins at 10 a.m. Free entry, with refreshments and food available on site at lunchtime (meals cost €10; reservations recommended at 06 72 80 85 69).
