AS Monaco formalizes the arrival of English defender Eric Dier

It was an open secret, and now it's official: Eric Dier will indeed be a Monegasque player next season. AS Monaco confirmed what everyone was expecting this Wednesday evening at the Grimaldi Forum, in a video broadcast during the club's season-ticket holders' evening.
The 31-year-old Cheltenham native, who has 49 caps for the Three Lions, had already confirmed his signing in the Principality last weekend, during Bayern Munich's German championship title celebrations. While highlighting the Principality club's "efforts" to recruit him and the constructive discussions with Monaco's management, the former Spur has committed to three seasons at the Rock, starting on July 1st and ending June 30, 2028.
Red and White coach Adi Hütter will be counting on his experience to guide his young squad, particularly in the Champions League.
