War in Ukraine: Europe to turn off Russian gas and oil taps in 2027

The European Union unveiled its roadmap on Tuesday, May 6, to end all purchases of energy products from Russia: gas, oil, and nuclear fuel. To avoid driving up prices, some purchases were still authorized, but will end by 2027.
