A first in Var for the Cavalaire nautical fair this Thursday

The first edition of the Cavalaire Nautical Fair will be held this Thursday, May 8, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Place Sainte-Estelle. Around 60 stalls will offer a variety of items related to the world of the sea.

The public will have the opportunity to find paddleboards, clothing, diving, swimming, fishing equipment, and many other items and accessories on site. A refreshment bar will also be set up on site.

With the support of the Cavalaire Yacht Club, Éric Varicclier and Marc Tedeski, the event organizers, say the idea came to them somewhat by chance.

" This is a first in Cavalaire and the Var region. There are flea markets and garage sales for everything, but never one dedicated to nautical activities. We are very proud to organize it ," they explain.

No large boat, due to lack of space

However, the sale of boats over two meters long, such as boats, jet skis, etc., will not be possible on site due to lack of space. " Only photos with their specifications will be allowed to be displayed ," Eric specifies.

" We hope to welcome a large number of exhibitors, for the sun to shine, and for the public to be present. It's a unique opportunity to find great seafood deals at low prices ," conclude the organizers.
