Taxes: The deadline for filing tax returns on paper has expired

More than four million people still file their tax returns on paper. This significant figure shows that the online system is not necessarily the one used by all French citizens. Tuesday, May 20, marked the last day for submitting these forms.
This Tuesday, May 20th, was the last day to send your tax return in paper form. In France, nearly 10% of taxpayers, or four million, still use good old paper and pen to fill out their tax return according to the Public Finance Centers. This is particularly the case for Philippe Pilloubet, a retiree, who only sees through his precious sheet: “ It's easier for me. I'm old school, I'm 64 years old, and I'm not very good with the internet. ”
For those who don't necessarily want to use the online platform, or who can't but would like help completing the declaration, there's a solution: an appointment with an advisor. This is the case for retiree Jean Robert Cherfils, who waited three weeks: " I came to see if I hadn't made any mistakes. I did the right thing by making an appointment because there were some ."
