SNCF strike: what traffic for the May 8th bank holiday?

SNCF strikes have significantly disrupted traffic in the Île-de-France region today, particularly on the RER (Round-Range Express). But what's most worrying for travelers is the long weekend of May 8th. SNCF assures that TGV traffic will be normal. But is it being overly optimistic?
Marseille-Toulouse, Paris-Montpellier... This Monday, May 5, travelers had their eyes glued to their phones, some surprised by the strike that could disrupt May 8th Bridge . In Languedoc-Roussillon, 35% of the ticket inspectors are on strike. This is because the regional trains, the RER, the TER and the Transilien are primarily affected by the social movement.
In Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), some well-informed travelers have changed their plans to avoid being trapped. "We were supposed to arrive this morning (...) but in the end we postponed our trip and arrived yesterday evening," explains a traveler. This Monday, there were disruptions but no chaos, however, at the Gare du Nord in Paris. But what can we expect for the rest of the week? The SNCF management wants to be reassuring for the May 8th bank holiday, assuring that we will be "far from a black week." But a union representative, on the contrary, asserts that nothing is decided yet.
