Lyon: Tax lawyers help taxpayers complete their tax returns for free
On the occasion of Tax Day, held on May 15, tax lawyers will be helping Lyon residents complete their tax returns free of charge in several district town halls.
On May 15th, another Tax Lawyers' Day will be held in Lyon and throughout France. Organized by the Conference of Bar Associations and the Lyon Bar Association, the event aims to assist Lyon residents with their tax return process. For the occasion, tax lawyers will be present in seven of the city's district town halls: the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 9th arrondissements. The event is open to all taxpayers free of charge and without an appointment.
As the deadline for filing tax returns approaches (June 5 online and May 20 by paper), tax lawyers are eager to help Lyon residents with their filing needs. They also hope to make it easier for people to consult a tax lawyer, a practice often reserved for the wealthiest.
