Pont-à-Mousson: Our selection of bakeries and florists open on May 1st

May ^1st is a holiday for all French people. All of them? No. Some people don't stay home on Labor Day. This is the case for florists and some bakeries. Florists are always open on May ^1st .

"I've been open on this day of the year for 30 years," explains Alexandre Lathuille, a florist on Place du Paradis. "It's the day the lily of the valley sale begins." The Nymphéa Fleurs boutique on Rue Victor-Hugo is of the same ilk. "We'll be open like every year," explains Mélodie Rabot from the other side of the counter.
