Lyon Metropolis. Night works in Tassin: Boulevard du Valvert partially closed to traffic from Monday

Due to roadworks, from Monday, September 1st , until September 12th, Boulevard du Valvert is closed to traffic in the direction of Valvert towards the A6 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
After being made one-way between Tassin and Charbonnières during the day, Boulevard du Valvert will now be closed to traffic from 8 p.m. in the direction of Valvert towards the A6, starting this Monday, September 1 .
The cause: road surfacing operations and the construction of a separating wall with the future cycle path, which will be carried out at night from Monday to Friday, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, until September 12.
As a reminder, this work is part of the development of Voie Lyonnaise No. 8, which should connect La Tour-de-Salvagny to Saint-Priest by 2030, notably along Boulevard du Valvert.
The work, which began on July 15 , initially took place during the day, which required the boulevard to be made one-way. At the request of the town hall, the Lyon Metropolitan Area agreed to move the work to the evening due to the start of the school year.
Asked about this on August 22, the mayor (LR) of Tassin, Pascal Charmot, justified: "At the start of the school year, we know, everything is restarting, especially schools. It was not possible for the work to continue during the day."
