Varennes-lès-Mâcon. The village festival brought the residents together

The Varennes-lès-Mâcon festival committee organized the village festival this Saturday near the town hall. Starting early in the afternoon, a pétanque competition was held, with 36 registered pairs, including local elected officials, including departmental councilors Hervé Reynaud and Jean François Cognard, under the watchful eye of MP Benjamin Dirx.

An inflatable structure kept the youngest entertained while they waited for the Crêches band to perform. The meal planned to continue the celebrations was attended by 210 guests, who enjoyed ham and chicken cooked on a spit.
