Bron. Video surveillance masts: an art gallery in the city

Conceived as collaborative projects with residents, works created by inspired artists have been flourishing in the city for three years. The embellishment of dull gray concrete pipes on which the masts of video surveillance cameras are planted gives everyone the opportunity to discover the "touch" of a painter. In 2022, Deziray Zengin will exhibit his abundant naturalist dreams of flowers and birds on three masts at Terraillon (Jean-Moulin, Hélène-Boucher and Brossolette). RIMP will take over in Parilly in 2023 (UC2, UC5 and Monod College) with its organic forms, evoking encounter and dialogue.
He also decorated Place Jean-Moulin with his floating figures. Finally, this month, two new creations are to be discovered at Les Genêts (Rue de la Perle and Boulloche parking lot).
Under the brush of Lyon-based artist Tomalater, realistic paintings in pastel geometry depict sports and marine worlds as if in a child's game. "It's very beautiful, it makes you think of vacations. When the trees lose their leaves, we'll still have the colors," remarks a passerby who sees them for the first time.
Excluding the cost of preparing the supports, these frescoes cost the municipality €5,100, €7,320 and €6,000 respectively.
