Investigations carried out by the Val-de-Marne departmental judicial police service (SDPJ 94) have made it possible to arrest the individual suspected of having raped a 20-year-old woman in sordid conditions on Sunday, July 27 in Fontenay-sous-Bois, in Val-de-Marne.
The suspect, who was taken into custody Wednesday evening, was charged with "rape committed at gunpoint" and "arbitrary arrest, kidnapping, false imprisonment, or detention of a hostage to facilitate a crime or offense," the Créteil prosecutor's office told Le Figaro. The incident took place in the Éco-parc des Carrières in Fontenay-sous-Bois, Valeurs actuelles learned from a police source. A 20-year-old woman from Montreuil was approached by a man who allegedly offered her a joint. The same man then allegedly insulted her, threatened her with a knife, then tied her up and gagged her before taking her to a secluded room where she allegedly suffered multiple rapes, including vaginal and anal penetration.
The victim received medical treatment and was prescribed a ten-day total incapacity for work (ITT), subject to aggravation. Forensic medical examinations were conducted. The alleged perpetrator is being actively sought. He is believed to be a North African man with long hair. The investigation has been entrusted to the Val-de-Marne judicial police (SDPJ 94), as part of a flagrante delicto procedure for aggravated rape.
