This is what the historic UFC event at the White House will look like.

The world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) organization, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) , has always prided itself on breaking down barriers within the combat sports industry. For example, they were able to pull off one of the most complex events by hosting an event inside The Sphere in Las Vegas, overcoming countless production complications.

A few months ago, US President Donald Trump, a personal friend of UFC CEO Dana White, hinted at his colleague organizing an MMA event inside the White House ahead of the 2026 season, in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of American independence. No sooner said than done. The American company immediately got to work.

For now, only a few loose details are known. The event will be held on the South Lawn, the gardens on the southern side of the White House in Washington, D.C. Fighters participating in the card are expected to warm up inside the presidential residence itself, with the Oval Office or the Rose Garden being some rooms that could be used.

Many athletes have already applied to participate in this historic event, and Dana White has already stated that it will be "the biggest card in history." Admittedly, he's repeated this phrase on other occasions, but the theory that Irishman Conor McGregor will be fighting Michael Chandler on this card is starting to gain traction. Other superstars like Jon Jones and even Ilia Topuria are interested in participating in the aforementioned event.

It's also true that there is a security issue surrounding the event for obvious reasons. It's estimated that attendees won't exceed 5,000, and it's more than likely that all of them will be registered VIP guests . Therefore, it won't be open to the general public. However, giant screens are planned to be installed nearby so fans can watch from outside.
