'They're not children': the phrase that went viral about restrictions on Luis Díaz and Bayern Munich
Since last Saturday, September 20, 2025, the city of Munich, Germany, began the cultural celebration of Oktoberfest , one of the most popular beer festivals in the country.
While the main attraction of this event, which runs until next Sunday, October 5, is the alcoholic beverages, the international press has begun to question whether Bayern Munich players will have to comply with any restrictions during these days.

Faced with this, technical director Vicent Kompany decided to speak openly about the athletes' current situation during an interview, aiming to put an end to media speculation.
According to the professional, the most important thing now is the performance of his players. However, he clarified that he didn't set any conditions, as he trusts the players' professionalism.
"I trust them even in these moments. They're not children; they usually have children at home, they know what's right and what's wrong. And if something happens, we'll fix it together," Kompany commented during the conversation.
The technical director also noted that since he hasn't been leading the team for a long time, he can't guarantee whether or not something has happened during the festival in previous years, but he emphasized that if something does arise, he will seek a joint solution.

Vincent Kompany doesn't stop the players from enjoying the celebration.
Although the professional highlighted the athletes' behavior and the confidence he has in them, he doesn't rule out the possibility that, due to the festivities, the members of Bayern Munich will integrate into the cultural atmosphere of Oktoberfest.
"We have to live normally so we can always perform at our best. But, of course, it's a special feeling in Munich at this time," said the coach, referring to the fact that this isn't the only holiday of the year in Germany.

While Kompany did not reveal further details about the players' participation in this cultural tradition, it is known that his players are preparing for the match against Werder Bremen on September 26.
In addition, on Tuesday the 30th, they will have to compete for the ball and their position on the field of play with Pafos, as part of the UEFA Champions League sporting competition.
