Santos Cerdán's Wikipedia profile picture has been modified to include an image of an animal.

Former Organization Secretary of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), Santos Cerdán León , was sentenced this past Monday, June 30, to prison without bail after testifying before the Supreme Court for his alleged involvement in rigging public contracts in exchange for kickbacks.
Although Cerdán denied in his appearance before the High Court his involvement in the alleged rigging of public contracts in exchange for illicit kickbacks uncovered by the Central Operative Unit of the Civil Guard (UCO), the judge's ruling indicates that he was the one who received the kickbacks from contracts and public works contracts awarded to companies such as Servinabar and Acciona.
For this reason, the former PSOE's number two spent his first night in the Soto del Real prison, where other figures such as Rodrigo Rato, Jordi Pujol Ferrusola, and Luis Bárcenas have also spent time.
The magnitude of this case has led to a huge media coverage , and a tremendous stir has arisen especially on social media surrounding Cerdán, the PSOE (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party), and the government. This, in turn, has led to all sorts of montages, memes, and other events, and this morning it was discovered that users had modified the Wikipedia page about Santos Cerdán's profile.
Wikipedia is a collaborative, multilingual online encyclopedia, openly accessible and free of charge , where anyone registered can edit and add information. That's why this morning, instead of a photo of him on Cerdán's website, they replaced it with one of a pig lying down and covered in mud.

This has been possible because, as we said, on Wikipedia, it's the users who modify the websites, and therefore, just as they posted this image of a pig, they will be able to change it back in the next few hours, something that will surely happen to maintain the rigor of this platform.
