Multiverse Computing seeks to increase its capital by 150 million

The Guipuzcoan startup Multiverse Computing, specialized in quantum technology , plans to increase its capital by 150 million euros with the aim of " accelerating its research and development efforts, as well as expanding its presence in the international market " after the opening, at the end of the year, of its office in the United States , which joins those in Canada, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy .
Furthermore, this injection will allow the startup, backed by the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT) – known as 'SEPI Digital' – to facilitate " new hires and investments in advanced technological infrastructure," according to the company, which is focused on developing advanced solutions aimed at transforming key sectors.
Investment by the Government of SpainLast March, the Spanish government announced a 67 million euro investment in Multiverse Computing through the SETT (Spanish Securities and Exchange Commission). As Óscar López , Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Service, emphasized at the time, the public's foray into this Basque company was part of the " pursuit of European strategic autonomy ."
