Where will it rain this weekend? These will be the regions with the most precipitation, according to IDEAM.

According to the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies (Ideam) , during the weekend of July 4-6, the heaviest rains will be concentrated in the Pacific region, the northern Andean region and sectors of the Caribbean region .

In contrast, the state forecasts mostly dry conditions in the Orinoquia and Amazon regions.

In Bogotá, partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected, with sporadic rain at different times of the day.

Towards the end of the afternoon, mostly dry conditions are expected with light to partly cloudy skies in eastern Nariño, northern Huila, central and eastern Tolima, western Cundinamarca, eastern Antioquia , large sectors of Norte de Santander and central Boyacá, as well as in the departments of Atlántico, Cesar, Magdalena and La Guajira.

According to the IDEAM report, dry weather is also expected in the southern Amazon. Rainfall of varying intensity will occur in the Pacific, Amazon, and Orinoco regions, as well as in the western and northern Andean regions and the southern Caribbean.

The heaviest accumulations are projected for parts of Chocó, Valle del Cauca, Cauca, and Nariño , with convective cores especially in the afternoon and evening. Significant rainfall is also expected in parts of Antioquia, Santander, Caldas, Risaralda, Quindío, eastern Cundinamarca, and large areas of Arauca, Casanare, Vichada, Meta, Guaviare, Guainía, Vaupés, Caquetá, Putumayo, and northern Amazonas.

For San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina , partly cloudy skies are forecast, with the possibility of rain, mainly towards the south and west of the maritime zone.

IDEAM experts report that dry conditions will continue tomorrow with slightly to partly cloudy skies in parts of northern Huila, central and eastern Tolima, western Cundinamarca , eastern Antioquia, central Boyacá, large areas of Norte de Santander, as well as the departments of La Guajira, Atlántico, Magdalena, and Cesar. Dry conditions will also be observed in southern Amazonas and parts of eastern Guaviare and Vaupés.

Rainfall of varying intensity is expected in the Pacific, Amazon and Orinoquia regions , as well as in the west and north of the Andean region and parts of the southern Caribbean.

The heaviest rainfall, some with thunderstorms, is expected to be concentrated along the Pacific coast (Chocó and Valle del Cauca), northwestern and central Antioquia, Córdoba, Bolívar, Santander, northern Caldas, and specific areas of eastern Cundinamarca. Rain is also expected in parts of Caquetá, Meta, Guaviare, Vaupés, Putumayo, and the northern Amazon.

For the archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina, partly cloudy skies are expected with the possibility of rain, especially toward the west and southwest of the maritime zone.

For today, mostly dry conditions will continue with light to partly cloudy skies in parts of eastern Nariño, northern Huila, central and eastern Tolima, western Cundinamarca, eastern Antioquia, as well as large areas of central Boyacá, Norte de Santander, and the departments of Magdalena, Cesar, Atlántico, and La Guajira.

Partly cloudy skies and a low probability of rain are expected in the southern Amazon and eastern parts of Vaupés and Guainía.

However, rains of varying intensity are expected in the Pacific, Amazon, and Orinoquia regions, as well as the western and northern Andean regions and the southern Caribbean.

The largest accumulations are expected to be recorded in areas along the Pacific coast (northern Chocó), northern Antioquia, northeastern Santander, and scattered areas in eastern Meta, Guaviare, Caquetá, Putumayo, and Vaupés.

From Ideam they indicate that, in general, the precipitations will tend to be more isolated and of lesser intensity than in previous days , although they will persist in a good part of the country,

mainly in the afternoon and evening hours.

In the archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia, and Santa Catalina, partly cloudy skies are expected with a low probability of rain, although isolated showers are possible in the western maritime area.
