However, some receive it early, as is the case for those receiving the IMSS and ISSSTE pensions.
When will ISSSTE pensioners receive their Christmas bonus in advance and how much will they receive?According to the official IMSS and ISSSTE pension payment schedule, beneficiaries receive their Christmas bonuses in different ways.
The ISSSTE Pension payment schedule indicates that The first part of the bonus will be paid in 2025 during the first half of November, although the official dates have not yet been announced. This additional deposit is added to the regular pension payment and corresponds to 40 days of salary , as established by current regulations; the November pension, however, is paid at the end of October.
On the other hand, the second installment will be paid in the first half of January 2026.
When do IMSS pensioners receive their Christmas bonus in advance and how much do they get paid?In the case of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) , the beneficiaries of the early bonus are pensioners due to unemployment at an advanced age or old age, as long as they are under the regime of the Social Security Law of 1973, in force until June 30, 1997. For them, The bonus corresponds to a monthly pension payment and is also deposited in November.
Do they advance the Christmas bonus for active workers?Those who are actively employed and registered with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) must wait until December to receive this benefit. The LFT establishes that the last day for employers to deliver the Christmas bonus is December 20th , although many companies usually advance the payment a few days earlier so employees can plan their year-end expenses.
