Enrique Peña Nieto denies being bribed by Pegasus salespeople

MEXICO CITY (apro) .- In response to allegations that Enrique Peña Nieto received $25 million from Israeli businessmen to obtain government contracts during his term, the former president denied the statements revealed by the Israeli newspaper “The Marker” and reproduced by Mexican media,
On his X account, Peña Nieto accused the media of lacking “minimum journalistic rigor” in the information it disseminated, “deceitfully,” raising doubts about who would be interested in publishing it.
"I regret coming across articles that, without the slightest journalistic rigor, make rash and malicious claims," the former president wrote.
He described the revelations about "alleged contributions" as "completely false" and considered their dissemination to constitute "an insinuation devoid of any basis."
Peña Nieto concluded his message by warning that "there remains a doubt, in whose interest such publication is made."
I regret to come across articles that, lacking the minimum journalistic rigor, make rash and malicious claims. The article about alleged contributions is completely false. It's an insinuation devoid of any basis.
The question remains, in whose interest is this done…
