Would you spend an hour in the quietest room in the world for $5 million?

At its Redmond, Washington, facility, Microsoft has created an anechoic chamber that holds the Guinness World Record for the quietest place in the world, recording a sound level of -20.35 decibels.
How does this soundproof chamber work? The room is covered with wedge-shaped fiberglass panels that completely capture sound. It is surrounded by six layers of steel and concrete, which isolate it from any outside noise. Inside, there is no echo, sound reflection, or any sound: not your footsteps, breathing, or even your heartbeat.

The experience is so intense that a challenge has been proposed: whoever manages to remain in the chamber for an entire hour will receive $5 million. To date, no one has managed to do so.
Silence or torture? In addition to setting a record and featuring advanced technology, this camera raises a disturbing question: How long can a person endure total silence without losing their composure?
