JetBlue flight from Cancun makes emergency landing in the US; several injuries reported

WHAT HAPPENED TO JETBLUE FLIGHT 1230?
JetBlue flight 1230 departed from Cancun International Airport with its final destination being Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
However, it began to lose altitude, so it had to divert to Tampa, where it landed shortly before 2:30 in the afternoon.
JetBlue passengers were hospitalized after a sudden loss of altitude.
“Medical personnel received the passengers and crew, and those who needed additional care were transferred to a local hospital,” JetBlue said in a statement.
He added that the ship was taken out of service for inspection, and that an investigation would be carried out to determine what happened.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said in a statement that it is investigating.
