The Israeli army shot and killed two 16-year-old Palestinians on Friday who threw a Molotov cocktail over one of the Israeli separation walls in the West Bank, near Judeira (north of Jerusalem), deaths that were recorded by the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Health officials reported that the deceased are Muhammad Atim and Muhammad Qasim, both 16 years old, and that the Israeli Army is still holding their bodies.
"Terrorists threw Molotov cocktails onto a public road and were eliminated in seconds," the Israeli army headlined in a statement accompanying the video of the young men.
The video shows them both throwing a burning object over the illegal wall with which Israel separates the territories it occupies (illegally) in the West Bank from the Palestinians , although it does not identify whether it is a wall next to a road, a settlement, or on the border of this Palestinian enclave.
The images cut off as the teenagers run away, before being shot.

At least 208 Palestinians have been killed this year in the West Bank in Israeli attacks, according to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), amid a wave of violence by Israeli forces and settlers against the population following the attacks of October 7, 2023.
Of the total documented by this UN agency up to November 3, 42 were minors. This number rises to 44 with the deaths of Atim and Qasim.
This violence has grown in recent weeks, adding to the already usual operations of the Israeli Army in the enclave an increase in violence at the hands of settlers, who reside illegally in the West Bank.

The latest report from the Palestinian Authority's Commission on Resistance to the Occupation and the Wall puts the number of Israeli attacks (by both soldiers and settlers) at 2,350 in October alone, when settlers unleashed this increase in violence in the context of the olive harvest season in the West Bank and the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
