A man dies after his car gets stuck in a ravine in Cuevas del Almanzora (Almería).

The man who had been missing since early Friday morning in Cuevas del Almanzora (Almería) has been found dead by emergency teams. The incident occurred after the vehicle he was traveling in became trapped by the floodwaters of the Mulería ravine .
According to information provided by the 112 Emergency Service to Europa Press, the body was found near Quitapellejos beach, near the river mouth. Authorities have confirmed that this is the person whose search began earlier in the day, and the investigation has therefore been transferred to the Civil Guard .
The car, carrying three other people who managed to escape on their own, was stopped at kilometer 2 of the AL-8106 highway. The alert was activated shortly before 6:00 a.m. when local police officers spotted the car with its lights on on the promenade.
The search has been coordinated by the Civil Guard , with the collaboration of members of the Levante Almería Firefighters Consortium and Civil Protection volunteers. According to sources consulted, the victim could be a resident of Pulpí , although this has not yet been officially confirmed.
