United Airlines Dreamliner: Luxury upgrade for all service classes

United Airlines is equipping its new Dreamliners with the new "United Elevated" cabin concept. With this comprehensive upgrade, the airline aims to outperform its competitors on international routes.
Everything will be better, bigger, and more refined – in all classes. With "United Elevated," the US airline has developed a generous service and comfort concept for the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners it has ordered. First class will be larger (United Polaris Studio Suites ), there will be two business class options, and more premium seats will be offered.
United Polaris Studio Suites : At the front of the aircraft, guests on the new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will enjoy suites that are not only 25 percent larger than standard United Polaris seats, but also feature private doors for added privacy, bench seating, wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and 27-inch (68.58 cm) 4K OLED monitors. Catering and service offerings will also be more sophisticated, with Ossetra caviar as an amuse-bouche, amenity kits with luxury toiletries, noise-cancelling Meridian headphones, hoodie pajamas and slippers, and plush Saks Fifth Avenue bedding including a cooling gel pillow.

United Polaris: The United Polaris class is also being upgraded, with features including sliding doors and giant 19-inch screens. All seats are aisle-facing. Guests have the option of choosing a seat facing the window, the cabin interior, or the aisle. Partitions provide a private area. The popular ice cream cart also offers a new, expanded selection, with Vanilla Bean, the undisputed favorite of many passengers, remaining, of course.
United Premium Plus: Seats feature adjustable dividers with integrated reading lights for more privacy, a quartzite cocktail table, wireless charging options, headphone and water bottle holders, and 40.64 cm (16-inch) 4K OLED screens.
United Economy: This cabin will be equipped with Bluetooth and the largest 13-inch (33.02 cm) screens available in the seatbacks of economy class worldwide (also 4K OLED).

For comparison: United's B787-9 aircraft currently have 48 seats in United Polaris, 21 in United Premium Plus, 39 in United Economy Plus, and 149 in United Economy.
United plans to put the first Boeing 787-9 with the "United Elevated" cabin concept into service by the end of this year. The first flights to London and Singapore are scheduled to depart San Francisco in early 2026. United aims to have a total of around 30 of these aircraft in its fleet by 2027.
