Woltemade's advisor rages: Next FC Bayern offer rejected

Nick Woltemade's agent has surprisingly spoken out publicly about the negotiations between FC Bayern and VfB Stuttgart. He attacks the Swabians and confirms a new offer from Munich.
The transfer drama surrounding Nick Woltemade is entering a new phase. Now, Danny Bachmann, the 23-year-old international's agent, has surprisingly publicly revealed the tough contract negotiations between VfB Stuttgart and FC Bayern. He not only confirmed a new offer from the record champions, but also accused Woltemade's current employer of breaking his word.
Woltemade's advisor: "Clear commitment" from VfB"In March 2024 and most recently in mid-June, VfB made a clear commitment to a solution-oriented approach as soon as the next career step is possible," Bachmann told the German Press Agency. "Such an opportunity now exists in the fast-paced world of football, becoming the German record champion and a permanent Champions League participant. For an ambitious German international, this is an enormous opportunity." FC Bayern Munich's interest has been known since the end of June. Shortly before the U21 European Championship final, it was leaked that Woltemade and the reigning German champions had agreed on a transfer – only VfB Stuttgart were unwilling to participate.
"Deadline" on Saturday - Time is running outAccording to consistent media reports, the Swabians have already rejected two offers. "It's been six and a half weeks now. At some point, it's enough," VfB CEO Alexander Wehrle recently told the Stuttgarter Nachrichten. "If you absolutely want to sign a player, you should also be able to find a solution within that time." The solution, from the Swabians' perspective, is said to be a fixed transfer fee of over €65 million, according to repeated reports. Wehrle also set a deadline of kickoff of the Supercup, which Stuttgart and FC Bayern will contest on Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
Woltemade's advisor confirms new FC Bayern offerAccording to Bachmann, FC Bayern has now made further efforts – without success: "The solution demanded by Mr. Wehrle this week within the framework of a questionable deadline was delivered today with the total package from the interested party and the player's side together amounting to more than 60 million euros plus a share of the resale," he said.
However, Stuttgart are said to disagree with the new offer, the agent continued. "The supervisory board's response regarding a demand of €75 million, which is outside the market, for a player who arrived on a free transfer but with a lower mid-range salary classification is not only completely unfounded – especially for a domestic transfer – but is in blatant contradiction to the aforementioned agreements," he said.
The outcome of the transfer poker involving Nick Woltemade is currently very uncertain. One thing is clear: the whole thing is unlikely to proceed quietly.
