For the sixth time, the Italian Supercup will be held in Saudi Arabia this year. As the Italian league announced on Wednesday, the 38th edition of the Supercoppa will be played in the capital, Riyadh. The dates announced are between December 18 and 22.
This marks the first time the Supercoppa has been held since 2019, and thus for the first time since its move to Saudi Arabia in December. Between 2020 and 2024, the competition was always held in January of the following year.
What remains is the four-team format: Since 2023, the Supercoppa has been played in a Final Four format. This time, SSC Napoli (champions), Inter Milan (runners-up), Bologna FC (cup winners), and AC Milan (defending Supercoppa champions) are participating. The semifinals are scheduled for December 18 and 19, and the final will take place on December 22.
