Hamburg - On August 22, 2025, at around 11:40 p.m., an obviously intoxicated man (m.29) came under the radar of a Federal Police patrol on the platform at the Reeperbahn S-Bahn station.

Reeperbahn subway station: Wanted man issued a warrant for arrest on August 21 and arrested by the Federal Police one day later. The subsequent check of his personal details resulted in a warrant for arrest. The man, convicted of resisting law enforcement officers in conjunction with insult, had been wanted by the public prosecutor's office at the Itzehoe Regional Court since August 21, 2025, with an arrest warrant.
"The German citizen had failed to pay a demanded fine (including legal costs) of 960.00 euros. The wanted man must now serve a substitute prison sentence of 70 days."
"Furthermore, a man known to the police for violent crimes is wanted by the Hamburg Public Prosecutor's Office for dangerous bodily harm."
The 29-year-old was taken to the Federal Police station in Hamburg-Altona by patrol car. A breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol level of 1.7 per mille. A doctor was summoned to determine the wanted man's fitness for detention. After spending a night in the Federal Police's holding cell, the man, who is known to the police, was taken to a detention center at 7:30 a.m. today.
