Many young, small, and medium-sized companies face the challenge of actually implementing innovative ideas. Budget constraints often hamper this. The Digital Bonus is designed to close this gap. This funding program, run by the federal and state governments, subsidizes investments in digital technologies, software, and IT security.
It's important to note that the digital bonus is not a loan , but a grant. Companies do not have to repay the funds. Depending on the federal state, the funding rate is between 30 and 80 percent , and the project size can be up to 140,000 euros.
